「Once we arrived at this property we were very excited to stay here. The house itself is quite unique and had a fantastic view of the jungle below. 「This is a great place, but there’s a couple of things you need to know before renting.First, if you can’t tell from the pictures, only the bedroom and bathroom are enclosed, the kitchen is completely open – no screens. That means bugs – it's Costa Rica after all. No mosquitoes, but beetles, flies, little flying things, and the occasional millipede. 「Small car is better; must be automatic transmission to ascend steep hill and park. View from balcony enjoyed every day, both morning and sunset. Only the bedroom has A/C. Close to touristy Manuel Antonio, but nature at the house was just as good, maybe better: monkeys on the mango tree; macaws nearby.
