"This B&B did it's job. The room and bathroom were adequate and the large size of the room was a bonus. The couple who run the inn were friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The best part of the stay was the breakfast where the hosts made homemade food and gave us a presentation on what to visit in the area as well as some history. They also played us a song on the fiddle during breakfast. The hospitality was lovely."
"We had arrived early as the website had indicated there was music from 1 to 3 - which was not correct - but the desk clerk was gracious and allowed us to check in early. Our room was very clean. The lobby outside the dining room and entry at the stairs were both rather grubby which was most likely due to it having rained but even the next morning hey remained muddy and grubby. The brook and the grounds were charming. Aside from the gentleman who gave us the tour of the distillery we found the remainder of staff we engaged with to be very cool and not at all welcoming."
"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The view of the pond with the waves beyond was absolutely amazing, and we loved the beautiful walk to the beach, especially with the spectacular fall colours. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras, like salt and pepper and a blender for making smoothies! The location was perfect for exploring the area, playing Cabot golf, driving the Cabot Trail, and spending time with family nearby. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it!"

"What a great place to stay while in the Port Hood area! My Wife and I couldn’t believe how amazing the views were. Walk to the edge of this beautiful property and you’re rewarded with amazing Ocean views. The cottage is amazing as well. Tons of room, clean and well appointed. You won’t be disappointed if you book with Shannon. Great communicator and very helpful."
"This property had plenty of space for just the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to cater for ourselves for the 3 nights we stayed. The heating worked well as the temperature outside was chilly but we were plenty warm enough inside. Comfy, warm bed.
The shower was nice but the sealant round the base was mouldy and needs cleaning or replacing."
"Wonderful accommodations and the views of the ocean were amazing. Short walk down to the beautiful beach. Very quiet area and easy access to all things on the Cheticamp side of the island."
"A very comfortable stay in a quiet, clean and well outfitted 2 bedroom rural home. Great location for exploring the west coast of Cape Breton Island. Close to sandy beaches and coastal villages. Highly recommended. Thanks Scotty."
