「Tired rooms, staff not particularly enthusiastic or communicative, slow to respond to requests for basics like towels and toilet paper, most of the focus on the glitzy casino attached, and bedbugs. This wouldn't pass inspection as a three-star in most Western countries. On the plus side, the breakfast was well done, there's a good restaurant next door (Happy) with contrastingly great service (so it is possible), and it's a short walk into the town centre and other attractions.」

「国際会議出席のためプロブディフに３泊しました。 会議場のホテルに泊まるのも芸がないので、旧市街のこのホテルの「スタジオ」に泊まりましたが正解でした。古い街並みを抜けての通勤は、毎日楽しかった。 旧市街のど真ん中にあって静かなロケーション。テラスから見下ろす街の風景は異国情緒満点です。 オーナーのおじさんはマフィアのボスみたいな風体で、愛想が良いとは言えませんが、根は優しそう。英語も通じます。 朝食は８時からとのことでしたが、会議の開始に間に合わないので交渉したら７時５０分に変更してくれました。街を見下ろしながらレストランのテラスで食べる朝食はなかなかオツでした。 五つ星ホテル並みのサービスを期待する人には不向きでしょうが、オーナーの無愛想さや多少の設備の古さも楽しめてしまう人にはおすすめです。 旧市街は石畳の坂道なので、スーツケースをゴロゴロ引っ張っていくのは大変です。駅からタクシーを使うのがいいでしょう。宿〜駅は３Lv(200円くらい)でした。 近くに遺跡や古代劇場、博物館もあって観光にも打ってつけ。 街灯もちゃんとあるので、夜に出歩いても心配はありません。」
