"The perfect place to rest and unwind, not only to see the lakes (although they're stunning) but also to lounge in the hammocks, ride bikes and enjoy the woodland. "This is a large house that has multiple units in it so you have a shared main entrance and dining area but the rest is private. The a/c didn’t really reach any of the bedrooms which made for a hot/uncomfortable sleep. Location is good, 10 minute drive to the park which was our purpose for staying here. "

"We were only in the house to sleep after arriving late and then rushing back out to see Plitvice before it rained. We had a little trouble contacting the property manager when we first arrived to gain entrance into the home since we couldn't make a phonecall with our US phones, but we found a nice local who called for us. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy.
