Villa Portokalia Platanias

Villa Portokalia Platanias is located on the western side of Crete, with close links to the main town, Chania. This ancient town with its cobbled streets, and harbour front lined with bars and restaurants is a popular choice for those looking to explore this side of the island. If you look closely, you may even spot one of the regular sea turtles that bob about in the marina. This ancient port was the hub of the trading scene thousands of years ago, and today still retains its historic charm.
Alternatively, spend lazy days poolside and relax on one of the reclining sun loungers, whilst topping up your tan. Surrounded by a soft evergreen lawn, this garden terrace oozes relaxation. With two bedrooms and bathrooms, this quaint villa is ideal for up to four guests. An open-plan living room and kitchen creates a warm and welcoming space for both entertaining and chilling.

Important Information - Please note this property contains internal horizontal railings (ladder effect). Please ensure children do not climb and remain supervised at all times.

Mobility statement - To access the villa there is a path which is 200cm wide alongside 3 steps. The front door has a width of 96cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 200cm wide. There is one step down from the terrace to the pool area, where the pool itself has step access. The terrace is a mixture of tiles and lawn. Inside, there are 3 steps down to the ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a door width of 80cm, whilst the door into the bathroom is only 64cm wide. The door into the kitchen/lounge is 79cm wide. There are 13 steps to the first floor, where the double bedroom door is 74cm wide, and the shower room door is 64cm wide. The staircase to the first floor is spiral and narrow. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Great villa

The villa is well located and well equipped. The pool is very nice and the AC in the bedrooms is very useful. I suggest you add an AC or at least a ventilator in the living room.
