"We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Metz Centre and would highly recommend it. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff truly made our stay memorable. One morning, we arrived for breakfast with only five minutes left before closing. Tomas at the front desk kindly spoke with the kitchen staff and asked them to keep the buffet available until we had finished eating. That level of customer service was greatly appreciated. "The hotel is very dated, it looked better in the front but at the back, it looked abandoned and not maintained. The room is very small, basic and not very clean. The supposed garden was not maintained and the pavement was uneven with loose slabs which can be dangerous. The breakfast was chaotic with few choices."

"Nice studio apartment with balcony. Self catering but restaurant available if needed. Odalys difficult to find as no signs on roads. Nice quiet complex. Parking good and safe. We booked in advance so space reserved underneath building. Metz lovely with cathedral and Pompidou Centre. Good free city transport on electric bus."
