"We arrived late and the staff was kind but the smoke detector would beep occasionally and woke us up at 2 am. I called the desk and she returned my call a few minutes later; I told her the situation and she explain was no doubt the battery. I assumed as much. She said if if beeps again, to call her and she would change out the battery. I just fell back to sleep and it beeped again. Called the desk, no answer and she did not come to change the battery. I asked the front desk upon checkout for a credit on my room rate, he handed me $20.00. The bed was like sleeping on wood and the pillow was horrible. I will never use Red Roof Inn again. The reviews were good...go figure."
