"This place is amazing!!! The staff were fantastic. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. We walked the grounds which are beautiful. We wish we could have stayed more than one night. Out of the 4 places we’ve stayed so far in Scotland this was our favorite."
"We had a comfortable stay and was treated well by the staff. The room had been recently refurbished, coffee maker, kettle etc, and was roomy with a comfortable large bed.,clean etc. We were a little unsure how room service was conducted but didn't cause any concern to us. There was a very good buffet style breakfast with something to suit most tastes, cooked or cold ,just suit yourself to whatever took your fancy. A spacious dining room. The Hotel has a small indoor pool to use open 8am to 8pm and a bar/lounge serving various drinks. So all in all for us a nice few days,in a good location (5 mins approx to the station, buses and the numerous eating establishments.,shops. Reading some of the previous reviews made us a little unsure what to expect, but no major issues as we like to enhance the good points rather than look for finicky negatives, which everywhere in our experience of staying in hotels Europe wide can be subject to critiscm if one looks for it, of course any major issues we would report!"
"One of our favorite hotels we stayed at in Scotland. Lovely hotel with wonderful design details. Staff were friendly and helpful. We got a message that our room was not available due to the need for some maintenance. They ugraded our room and made it right. They gave us a lift to the train station after our stay. Just be advised that it is an uphill walk to the hotel if you have luggage and choose to walk from the train station."
"This hotel in Pitlochry was a convenient stop-over when we were en route from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye. While there are lots of things to see and do locally, our schedule allowed us to stay only one night. The rooms were comfortable if on the small side given the angular walls that followed the roof line. The beds and linens were fine, and the rooms had a nice modern shower. Plenty of parking available, great breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff. The only real drawback was that there was no elevator, so we needed to haul our luggage up several flights of stairs."
"Perched on a hill in town, the hotel was a 8-10 minute walk to the shops and a quiet refuge from the busy Main Street. We were in the modern annex with a terrace. Bed a bit small for two tall people, but comfortable. The Main House lounge was a very comfy place to read in the late afternoon; best of all - the outstanding dinner. Compliments to the chef! Do stay for dinner!"
