This place was awesome. The owners were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely. We’ve been hopping around Scotland for 10 days and Poplars was my favorite lodging. Highly recommend!!!

The Poplars was outstanding- excellent hosts, well appointed B&B and superb breakfast. The home was pristine and offered a sip of whisky in the guest lounge. Couldn’t ask for anything better - we highly recommend the Poplars.

We were there 6 nights & it is by far the BEST guest house we’ve ever experienced. The house is the perfect mix of being historic but also updated, so it feels fresh. Loved the high pressure insta hot water & super comfy bed. Great location for walking to dinner each night. And it was the perfect home base for day trips to Dunnottar Castle, Balmoral, Blair Castle & Glamis Castle for the Highland Games. The gardens and view from the house are gorgeous. As was the beautiful high quality breakfast each morning, that started the day off right. Lastly, I’ll share that Nancy & Scott are amazingly warm & gracious hosts, and very generous sharing their local knowledge. Many thanks for a beautiful time & memory at The Poplars.

This was a wonderful guest house. The house decor was pretty, the breakfast was great, the host was welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and was very easy to get the perfect temperature. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a really lovely B&B, the owners were so kind and we loved our room. The view was great and it was in a great location to easily walk to the shops and restaurants, and the Blair Atholl Distillery.

We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed longer. The superior room was roomy and comfy with a great bathroom too. We loved sitting in the armchairs and looking at the beautiful scenery out our window. Next time, we will stay for more than one day.

We had a one night stop over on our way up north. The hosts, house, room and breakfast were all fantastic. We would definitely recommend and stay again. The location is also perfect to walk into the main street. We ate at Prince of India which we would also recommend.
