Hi Cecilia, We are very sorry to hear this! If you had let us know there was any concern while you were here we would have had maintenance come right away to address any issue. We are very sorry that we are only finding out about this after you have departed. Our housekeepers take pride in their work, and our goal is for every guest experience to be a 10/10. This cabin is very rustic, and we would have happily sent out housekeeping to address any concerns you had right away. We are so sorry to hear that you didn't get to experience the cabin. While our private road is gravel and quite steep (as many mountain roads in our area are), we have had many guests in all types of vehicles love their experience at their cabin in the woods. We do suggest a 4wheel drive vehicle or snow chains in the winter months when there may be bad weather. As soon as you let us know you did not want to continue up the road, we offered for you to come to our bed and breakfast which is in a valley and on completely flat ground. We were disappointed that you did not accept, and hope that you are able to come again in the future so we can provide you with a wonderful experience with no steep roads.

Hi Melinda, we are sorry to hear about your experience with us - we strive to have every guest experience be a 5 out of 5. We tried to contact you multiple times on your check in day via call and text message (I also left you a voicemail), but we didn't get a response. Unfortunately we are unable to issue door codes until we make contact, we apologize for the 30 minute delay on issuing your key code. We also texted to see if there was anything you needed while staying with us, as we love to make sure our guests get settled into their cabins okay for the evening, but didn't hear back. We would have happily provided extra facecloths, so please just make sure to let us know next time. We also have accommodations that are not as far up into the mountains if you prefer less of a woodsy experience.
