This is a well maintained historic hotel in the heart of Old City, directly across the street from the Museum of the American Revolution and steps away from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Lots of great restaurants are within walking distance too. However centrally located, our room was quiet-no noise from the street below. The hallways are narrow, as is typical of older hotels, but the room felt surprisingly spacious and some great period details made the decor memorable. Breakfast is served in the atrium downstairs. Standard fair but plenty of it and a friendly wait staff. Cookies served in the lobby every afternoon, along with the coffee and tea that are always available, provided a nice homey touch! We would definitely stay here again.
