This is a must see! The place is literally inside the forest with the most beautiful nature surrounding you. They have a pool that fills up with water from the purest waterfalls! The service is like no other... we felt like everything was personalized to us. We are amazed by everything and everyone at the Pousada Paraiso do Acu. Highly recommend!

Paradise ..... you wonder if you will ever get there as you drive for what seems forever along windy roads but its all worth it. The hotel is a little paradise next to the mountain, come here to relax and enjoy good food, wine and hospitality ..... slow down and enjoy .... the service is incredible and the people so hospitable.

We really enjoyed staying here. The setting was spectacular, and very removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food in the restaurant was great, which was lucky for us, because we didn't want to drive back into town to eat somewhere else. Some other reviews say it's impossible to find, but we had little to no trouble. You do have to pay attention though. You essentially just follow the road until you're forced to turn either left or right, at which time there will be a Pousada Paraiso Acu sign telling you where to go. I would NOT advise trying to arrive at night. That does sound difficult. Be aware that the hotel does have wifi, but it's not consistent. Also, we were unable to check out before 8am because that's when the front desk opens. This wasn't a huge inconvenience, but we did have to wait about 20 minutes for them to open. The staff spoke English and were very welcoming and nice.

A vista é excelente, muito lindo. O preço da comida é bem salgado e a pousada não oferecer café da manhã já incluso na diária, foram os pontos fracos. Foi a primeira vez que fiquei num estabelecimento que não oferece esse serviço!

Sentimos falta de interfones nos quartos, pelo fato de a recepção e os chalés não serem no mesmo plano, fazendo com que qualquer coisa que você precise na administração você tenha que descer e tornar a subir para o quarto, ou subir e descer através de ladeiras íngremes não pavimentadas que exigem esforço. As funcionárias são excelentes, no entanto nosso primeiro contato foi aparentemente com a dona da pousada do lado de fora da recepção por volta das 8h da manhã, antes da abertura da recepção, que só ocorre às 9h. Ela nos recebeu com um bom dia, apenas... respondemos ao bom dia, mas ela ficava nos encarando e não dizia nada... Ficamos constrangidos, pois o mínimo que se espera ao chegar em qualquer lugar que preste um serviço é que sejamos recebidos com um bom dia, seja bem-vindo ao nosso estabelecimento! Em que podemos ajudar? E isso passou longe. Ao fechar a conta descobrimos que a taxa de serviço também é cobrada em cima das diárias, o que é muito estranho vindo de uma pousada que não serve café da manhã incluída na diária, somente à la carte, ao questionar a taxa em cima da diária a atendente nos informou que o valor da taxa de serviço na diária compreendia o serviço de limpeza dos quartos. O valor da diária não cobre a limpeza do quarto? Que metodologia de negócio é esse que te vende uma diária a x valor para no final você pagar x+10% alegando não servirem café da manhã, por seguirem o modelo europeu e baixar os custos da hospedagem? Baixou ou mascarou?

Vista maravilhosa!
Pousada muito boa com ótima estrutura e varias opções de atividades. Quartos limpos com decoração condizente com a pousada. Vista maravilhosa com por do sol que vale a pena conhecer!! Único ponto negativo é o acesso à pousada. A estrada tem partes de terra e e bastante estreita além de ser um pouco irregular nos últimos quilômetros. O ideal é ir para lá para aproveitar a pousada e os passeios pelo parque nacional. Além disso o restaurante vale a pena conhecer, com varias opções entre elas um fondue maravilhoso!!
