「Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Château de Villars.Personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable.Côté restauration, le chef Benoît Gaucher s’est déchaîné aux fourneaux et nous a régalé pendant 4 soirs montrant une grande inventivité.Ses linguine aux truffes resteront gravés dans notre mémoire.」

「We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.」

Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. 「Nous avons passé 10 jours extraordinaires entre famille et amis dans ce chaleureux et superbe lieu. Quel endroit idéal pour être au calme, se ressourcer dans la nature mais aussi pour passer un moment de qualité à plusieurs. 「We chose Château de Moncieux as the venue for a big family holiday - for our children and grandchildren. We were not disappointed. We were fortunate to have good weather and the pool was the focus of all our activities. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to lose themselves when they wanted to and the lounges were huge and comfortable as wee the bedrooms. Victor, the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful when needed. An excellent holiday venue」
