"It is a kind of vintage property. As it has an old foundation we do not expect the same as modern stays... When we travel we wanted to feel local with the touch of heritage living. Overall, our Fambam had a fantastic stay!!"

"Staff is amazing and extremely accomodating. Rooms are amazing for the price. Only criticism is walls in rooms and hallways naturally show some damage from over the years as peoole have bumled into them and left narks, but everything is clean and this small cosmetic issue doesnt detract from the overall quality of the stay."

"Room was clean, shower room was spotless. The in room safe was great and easy to use. The curtains were really good and kept the room dark in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even printed out concert tickets for us. We only had breakfast on the last morning but there was plenty of choice, hot and cold, it was good value for money. The only negative was that the beds were quite narrow and the mattress could have been a bit firmer but that is personal choice. The pillows and bedding were fresh and clean and beds were made daily."

"Very clean room and bathroom, peacefully quiet hotel in a convenient location and good wifi. Be aware one wing has no elevators and the spiral stairs are narrow. They offer a breakfast spread for a price - currently €15. Very close to Pyrénées metro station and not far from Belleville metro station. Easy to find. Very interesting neighborhood with lots of cafes and world cuisine. Carrefour city grocery store and McDonalds just around the corner a few minutes away. No microwave or fridge in room, for those who might need that. Some people may find the rooms small if they are used to American hotel rooms, for example. But Parisian hotel rooms often tend to be smaller. Had a perfectly good stay - nice hotel and safe but interesting neighborhood. Would avoid Belleville station late at night. Not unsafe, just a bit unsavory crowd around there sometimes. But across the area, cafes and pubs are filled with young people late into the night. The convenience stores also stay open late and have most things travelers might need. "

"Clean room, excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Good option if you don’t want to fork out for a central Paris hotel, as metro is 5 minutes walk. Also area is more chilled out and has great food options."
