If modern / streamlined / minimalist / light and airy is your vibe this probably isn’t for you, but if you want space, traditional furnishings and a homely feel in a superbly conveniently placed villa then you will not be disappointed. The cliff top walks, outstanding beach coves and beachside cafes, for me, were what dreams are made of. Enjoy!"

"Staff was attentive when needed. Very calm and relaxing. If your are looking for a slower pace, relaxation and good food, this is a nice place. Food is fairly expensive compared to the local town a 10 minute walk. A variety of restaurants are available and multiple tourist shops. Parking is horrible, so use service from the airport and the hotel has rental cars if needed, also a Tuk Tuk that transports to Carvoeiro if choosing not to walk the 10 minutes. Great stay. "

"Toute la famille a vraiment aimé les vacances passées dans la maison de Joao et Nuno. La Casa Do Farol est très bien située, proche de l'océan, dans un environnement calme. Il y a à proximité toutes les commodités: restaurants, supermarchés, boutiques, "take away", ainsi que de belles promenades. Le jardin est très joli et bien entretenu, de même que la piscine et la terrasse. Nous avons très souvent pris nos repas dehors sous l'auvent. A notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé un panier de bienvenue, merci à nos hôtes! Merci aussi pour la petite rampe qu'ils ont installée entre la terrasse et la piscine, car je suis une PMR et c'était vraiment bien pour mon mari et mes enfants qui me déplacent dans mon fauteuil roulant.La maison est d''une propreté impeccable, très bien équipée et joliment meublée et décorée. Le salon est très agréable et confortable. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est de très bonne qualité, les rangements, nombreux. Les salles de bain sont nombreuses, bien conçues et hyper propres. Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois à Carvoeiro, à 5 mn de la maison, c'est un petit port très joli; Nous avons aussi exploré 2 fois Portimao, qui est une belle ville portuaire, Lagoa et ses falaises et rochers rouges et dorés, plantés dans l'eau turquoise.En conclusion, la Casa Do Farol mérite bien la note de 10/10!Merci encore et des pensées amicales pour nos hôtes.Famille Ferreira Lopès"

"Stayed at the Mirachoro resort for a week with my son and his friend at the beginning of May. Overall an excellent experience, let's break it down: STAFF - extremely friendly and helpful LOCATION- 5-10 min walk down the main Street past 10+ restaurants to the beach area. Beautiful sandy beach, good waves wind, refreshing water. BREAKFAST- amazing, eggs, yogurt, toppings, fruit, cheese and cold cuts, coffee, juices, pastries... RESORT- bar, pool table (1 euro per play), great big pool, kids pool, steam room. Lots of places to relax inside and out. Hot tub was only warm and sauna was broken. Overall works highly recommend. The town has more restaurants than you can count, lots of English pubs, Italian, Portuguese food. Lots of golf courses in the area."

"Booked this property based primarily on centralized location within the Algarve region, but it exceeded our expectations. The amenities onsite were plentiful, including nearby restaurants, coffee shops, convenience store, pools, mini golf, etc…. The rooms were a good size and having a full kitchen was handy since we stayed for 5 days. I’d highly recommend this property and would definitely return in the future."

"Un très bel endroit, le domaine est propre à l’extérieur . Les chambres sont propres avec service de nettoyage à tous les jours. Beaucoup espace de stationnement. Endroit super tranquille, un peu excentré de la ville. Il faut idéalement une auto ou bien Uber. Les seuls bémols pour nous est la cafetière filtre ancienne et la douche avec une pression assez faible dans un bain assez étroit. Ma note global est de 9 sur 10."

"Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different."

"The units are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is set up perfect with all the dinnerware, pots, pans and appliances that you would require. We even had a juicer and we had the most delicious orange juice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!"
