Hotel was lovely and in good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean . We very much enjoyed our breakfasts and also had dinner there both nights which was delicious.

Terrible odor in hotel and room on arrival. Our window to harbor was adjacent to our neighbors room who could see right into our room if we kept window/door open . We checked in and left immediately. Very disappointing and hotel staff did not question why we were leaving after just checking in.

Had a lovley stay , staff were all fantastic. Breakfast was great , Room 16 waking up to see St Michaels mount from bed was brilliant. Just overall a great stay and we will be coming back to stay again.

We loved the room and the food was delicious. The breakfast was one of the best spreads available and the hot breakfasts were extraordinary. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel and location with friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean with lovely sea views. The restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was greasy and unpleasant. Subsequent mornings it was better.

Friendly welcoming staff on arrival, at meals and if you want any recommendations about the local area. The hotel is up a fairly steep hill providing great views across the town and harbour. Rooms vary on size but ours was functional and comfortable if rather warm but a fan was provided for the current heatwave. Breakfast offered a great choice from both a buffet or cooked breakfast (cooked to order). We also had dinner in the hotel on our first night as a group of 12 (needed to preorder) which worked well. The pool was a lovely extra for those brave enough to take the plunge! (I’m told it was lovely when you got in!).

Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning in our cosy double. However, on mentioning this, a staff member produced a second larger fan, which sorted the problem. Breakfast menu was very good. Cooked breakfasts well presented. Husband missed Granola! Waitresses lovely. Coffee machine a good one. Views from restaurant beautiful. Good location for everything, including public transport.

I've stayed here 5 times now so I must like it. Great hotel in a really good location 5 mins walk from the station. Very clean throughout a perfect place to relax. Hopefully I'll go back again when I can. First class I really can't fault it at all.

Honestly, this place was fantastic. The views from our room were easily some of the best we've ever had. The staff were so welcoming, especially the gentleman at the bar (we didn't get his name) who made us the absolute best Espresso Martinis. The location is perfect if you're traveling by train or bus, and the in-room snacks (crisps, biscuits, tea, and coffee) were such a nice bonus. It was a shame the weather stopped us from using the lounge and heated pool, but it just gives us a reason to come back!

We stayed at several places and this was another good one, but, keep in mind that: 1. You need to prebook a parking space. it will be an extra charge ~ £9 2. Also, prebook the restaurant for dinner. They can't guarantee guests a table 3 they automatically at a 10% gratuity on dinner bills, it says optional on the check Recommend.
