「The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out..」

「Sheepfold Barn, as the name suggests, is a well presented barn conversion with lots of light and is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic with great dog walks on the doorstep. Being lambing season we were entertained by the frolicking lambs as we relaxed in the jacuzzi. Our dogs were very well behaved, initially curious but the long walks made them too tired to care. 「This was a short holiday for my husband and me, and our adult children. We had cosy fires every evening and some nice meals in the dining room and the area. Plenty of walks, plenty of shops in Penrith for buying supplies. Very clean and well equipped cottage. Thoughtfully decorated. Very quiet area. We will be back I am sure.」
