This large family home is the ideal location if you are looking for the ideal base to explore National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty or just a relaxing place to get away.. 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Front garden with patio, sitting out area and garden furniture. Hot tub (private). 1 dog to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: Step in garden.. Located in the beautiful and tranquil Eden Valley, Delmonte is on the outskirts of Langwathby, with its train station on the fabulous Carlisle to Settle line, a lovely local pub, which serves both excellent food and is just a short stroll away from the cottage. This ground floor bungalow has large airy rooms and with its elevated position, comes with fantastic views onto the village and onto the peaks of the Lake District. The Eden Valley nestles between the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North Pennines, Cumbria’s ‘hidden gem’, which maintains the illusion of untouched remoteness despite its extremely accessible location. There is superb walking and fishing locally. Penrith, Alston and Ullswater are all under 15 miles away, and Hadrian’s Wall is just 20 miles away. Pub, restaurant and train station ¼ mile.

The property is wonderful and the garden and hot tub are great. Far more freedom than a hotel room or holiday inn .the local pub serves amazing food with a friendly atmosphere. Really pleased we booked it.
