「Rooms were just okay, quite basic, very stark. The property, lobby, and restaurant were beautiful which was quite a contrast to rooms. Carpet was a bit dirty and musty smell in hallways. Pool and bar area was beautiful. Town was extremely quiet when we were there and unsure of walking around at night. Exceptional wine tour by Bambuti arranged by hotel. Overall a nice stay. 」

「Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. 」

「Poor value for money There are way better places in Douro Valley at a lower price point. Even after being open more than a year it feels like it still has teething problems. Staff is not trained properly. Very slow service; music playing outside our room from the pool at night; sloppy turndown service (they left the ironing board in the room despite promising to take it away); they put our bags in the wrong room; cigarette burns in the patio furniture; one analogue key instead of digital...

「We had a memorable stay of two nights at the Quinta de S. Bernardo in Douro Valley. This inn is located in a fully functional farmhouse and vineyard, perched high on the slopes of Douro Valley mountains offering picture perfect views. We stayed in a room with river views and a plunge pool- it was beyond gorgeous. The facilities are immaculately maintained. The restaurant served great meals all through our stay including good options for a vegetarian in our party. The winery produces excellent...

「恐ろしく高評価で高価格の２つ星個人経営ホテルはリスキーだ。 わざと２人で予約したのに、あてがわれたのはスーツケースを広げられないほど狭いダブルの部屋。16㎡との表示だったが、どうみても10㎡しかない。日本の東横インみたいだ。（東横インの５割増し価格だけど） 翌日泊ったPousada de Viseuは、ここよりも安いのに部屋は倍の広さだったので、割高なんていうものではない。ぼったくりだ！ タンスやクローゼットも無く、ゴミ箱も無い。バスルームのアメニティはシャワーキャップ１つだけ、シャワールームはシャンプー兼用のポンプ式ソープ１つだけと２つ星らしい設備の貧弱さだ。 朝食は２つ星にしてはまずまずだが、フレッシュオレンジジュースを水で薄めてあったのに加えて、一般的に高価な食材が無い。宿代は近くの４つ星ホテルと同じなのに、質を落として誤魔化しているわけだ。 この姿勢が、このホテルの運営姿勢をよく表している。 ひとつ重要な情報だが、部屋に蟻除けの薬が置いてあった。 それでも、ベッドの上に蟻が徘徊していたので、虫がダメな人は絶対に避けた方が良いだろう。 」

「Godim鉄道駅に近いが、運行本数が少ないため、Regua駅で乗降車した。同駅からはドウロ河沿いに歩いて少なくとも30分はかかった。辺りは住宅街で、近くに大型スーパーが2軒も存在するため、買い物には便利。ホテルから北に20分程登ったところにブドウ畑が広がっている。部屋は清潔。私の部屋からドウロ河の眺めが良かった。窓には防音対策がなされている。ただ部屋の壁は十分に厚いとは言えない。隣の部屋から話し声が聞こえて来た。とは言え、コストパフォーマンスは非常に良い。」

「ドゥロ川を挟んでレグア駅の対岸にあるホテルです。歩いて20分はかかりますが迷うことはありません。その分静かで、スタッフの対応も良く、部屋も清潔で十分な広さです。部屋からはドゥロ川が一望できます。ドゥロ川クルーズやラメーゴへも便利ですが、2、3泊して川沿いを散歩して過ご過ごすのもおすすめです。」
