Super amazing stay. Would only do a short stint here as it’s very natural and not the most practical for an extended trip. The pools and overall property was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay. From the airconditioned electric vehicle from the airport through to the stunning location and endless view we had a perfect week long stay. Location is close to the bustling shops and steps from the energy of Padang Padang beach and local surf breaks but when you are in the resort it feels so relaxing and peaceful. The staff were very polite and helpful, offering us to spend the rest of the day by the pool after checkout due to our late night flight, they made us feel welcome without having to ask. We had booked one of the more basic rooms but it was really spacious, the indoor/ outdoor bathroom was stunning and HUGE and we had a nice outdoor porch. The design very much fits the eco minded nature of the resort. If I was to find a negative, some of the surrounding guests were very entitled, loud and rude but being that there were TWO great pools, we just went to the other pool to avoid them ruining our time. The spa serevices were not lised on website but a menu was provided upon arrival, the massage with sound of waves lapping below was excellent. Food and drinks were all enjoyable, being able to mix up the menu over the week with easily accessed nearby restaurants gave a perfect balance. We look forward to coming back :-)

The resort is beautiful and well kept. It’s definitely eco friendly so be sure to remember that and know that maybe the AC won’t be as cold as you want it and you can hear the wild life outside all hours of the night.

Stare al SUARGA hotel non è soltanto un soggiorno ma è vivere un’esperienza completamente nuova. L’hotel resort sembra posizionato in mezzo ad una giungla e la sensazione è come di stare all’interno di una casa sull’albero completamente in legno. Tutta la struttura era perfettamente ordinata, pulita, ben arredata e servita. È stato stupendo trascorrere la notte col fortissimo rumore del mare che arrivava in camera. Anche il ristorante all’interno dell’hotel è di livello molto alto e tutto il personale si è dimostrato sempre all’altezza gentile e d’aiuto. Assolutamente raccomandato se volete vivere un’esperienza inusuale. Svegliarsi trovando le scimmie sul proprio terrazzo o prendere il sole in piscina e vedere le scimmie che arrivano è stata un’esperienza pazzesca..

11/10 luxurious beyond. Everything amazing. Staff, location, food and the views spectacular. The infinity pool for relaxation, sunsets second to none. The property is Gorgoeus. Close proximity to town and other amazing restaurants. A smile on everyone’s faces and accommodating for all needs. A great beach below and monkeys 🐒 sure to visit.

The bed was very comfortable. The location and view were great. The included breakfast is very good. There are some misleading information regarding the dinner nights. For example, they sent us an invitation for sushi night with the price of 450k idr per person. The menu included 2 rolls, sashimi, nigiri and sake. When we arrived, the waiter told me you only get 2 pieces of each. A standard roll is 6 to 8 pieces. For a dinner, 8 bites is hardly enough. We walked away. This is rated as a 5 star resort, but its missing some small details. It should Include robes and slippers as staff and tourists can see in your room. The doors are heavy sliders, but there are no handles so you have to push your hands on the glass. Its a great experience, but for me, after being mislead by dinner service, I would explore other options.

This place was great! Good location, great spa service, beautiful pools, etc. The only negative was that since the bathrooms are considered outside there are many ants. We got a room with a bathroom and ants got into my pill box since I left it in the bathroom. Other than that this place was great!

My wife and I recently completed a wonderful 5-day stay at Suarga Padang Padang for our 40th anniversary. Because this property has a strict no-refund/no-cancellation policy, I did a lot of research on Expedia before booking. After reading some negative reviews post-booking, I actually went into panic mode—especially since my wife needs proper, centralized AC to stay comfortable. I was so anxious I almost booked a backup hotel! However, the staff completely eased my mind via WhatsApp before we even arrived, answering every question with great detail. We paid for an upgrade and stayed in Wantilan Suite 4, which sits right on the ocean and features access to a semi-private shared pool. It never felt crowded; we rarely saw anyone else there except the occasional neighbor. The Room & Amenities If you are expecting a traditional Hilton or Ritz-Carlton, keep in mind that Suarga is an eco-friendly resort. It has more of an elegant, luxury-lodge style. Our suite was fantastic and featured both centralized AC and a unique, specialized bed-cooling system. It worked so well that we actually had to turn the bed AC off some nights because it got too cold! The room had a second door opening up to a spectacular ocean-view seating area. It also featured an amazing outdoor bathroom. While we saw a water frog and a gecko, we had no major bug issues. This specific suite also comes with monkey protection bars on the outdoor area, keeping larger wildlife out.

The hotel was beautiful but not very practical. The area for breakfast was overly crowded and understaffed. Our room didn't have a chair to sit on which I feel could fit and make the stay more comfortable. When coming back to the room I didn't want to sit on the bed after being out and about so I had to go outside. Also, we were told we couldn't leave anything in the bathroom because the monkeys might get it. A simple solution would be to have cabinets instead of having to take everything out of the bathroom every evening and then putting it back in in the morning.
