「Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again」

「I was in room one over looking boating lake. It had teas,coffees, glass spoon and cup. Hot water with bath and shower, plenty of fresh towels and floral gel soaps. Comfy bed. Staff helpful and explained about entry and times.」

Very comfortable. Strong shower and water very hot. A couple of minor points that would be easy to remedy: a shelf or basket to put shampoo in rather than on the edge or the bath and a towel hook within easy reach of the shower. 」
