We loved the hotel and its location. Our rm #7 was great with its nice bathroom and terrific deck with lounge chairs. We had an outstanding meal at their restaurant, Blue, and a terrific snack of sushi and oysters at The Oyster Lounge. Highly recommend Tje Abalone!

Loved our room (#7) and the wonderful private outdoor lounge space. Staff was very nice (the night agent could have been more friendly), restaurant staff was great as was the registration desk agent who greeted us. The view of the beach and the hillside houses was really lovely. Breakfast was very good but nothing special. Dinner at Blue was outstanding as was our lunch at TheOyster Lounge. This was an outstanding choice in a lovely little beach resort town. Would love to return and would definitely stay at Abalone again!

Lovely property in a prime position just a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms (superior) very comfortable and clean, staff were lovely and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but the service was slow. We pre ordered our breakfast on the day we left as we needed to get on the road as it was a long journey, that worked out well. The waterfront just up the road is worth a visit. Would recommend.

Highly recommended for stay in Paternoster

Very comfortable 2 night stay in Paternoster. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfasts. Plenty of nearby restaurants/bars.

The hotel has the most beautiful views of the bleach and the sunset every evening. The staff are so willing, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cute lil hotel in Paternoster

We stayed here for a night after dining at Wolfgat. If I'm honest, I don't feel the need to visit Paternoster again but if you do, then this is a cute little hotel to stay at. There are 2 small sized pools and the rooms are pretty small too but the service and breakfast were both great.

Prachtig hotel met super vriendelijk personeel !! Lekker eten in het restaurant, ontbijt was inbegrepen. Zalig genoten aan het zwembad. Onze kamer was ruim en mooi ingericht, Netflix mogelijk om te kijken op de kamer. Massage laten doen en ook deze was super goed!

The Hotel was superb all the staff were so pleasant, and food was excellent, definitely one to go back too. Very difficult to find any negative comments. Nadine on front desk was most helpful when I had a problem 👍😘 Paternosta was pretty little resort with wonderful beaches.

Awesome experience.

2 night stopover. Lovely location and integrated into the local community. Super hotel with excellent facilities and impressive decor. Room was nicely equipped and provided extra hospitality. An awesome new experience. Service, staff and hospitality super friendly and welcoming.

Best in Paternoster

Great location, beautiful sea view. Quiet place. Good breakfast and great a’ la carte menu, we had crayfish. Oysters and sushi just top. Staff took us on bird watching sail trip to Berg river. Can recommend. Spa should be upgraded (staff & ambience). Drinks at Oysterbar need improvement. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Comfort and an amazing location!

We stayed for one night with our daughter and son in law. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms very comfortable. The only complaint was no feather pillows (our personal preference) but the half/half pillows were ok. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but enjoyed breakfast in the morning, where sadly there was no freshly squeezed fruit juice which is a shame. Overall it was a lovely stay.

The eproperty has certainly the best vibe in town. Beds are comfy but facilities could be better maintained. Overall a very nice stay but there are major detractors like the crack house next door with loud neighbors and paper-thin walls between rooms, and finally ajck hammering at the pool next door midday.. Staff was very receptive to feedback. I would stay here over Strandloper when I return. Very safe and secure and very down to earth which is what one wants in paternoster.

Eigentlich gut

Eigentlich schönes Hotel auch vom Stil. Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber lagen überall Haaren rum, mussten sie zwei mal kommen bis es sauber war und es stank fürchterlich in der Küche. Zum glück konnte man die Türen schliessen zum schlafzimmer sonst wäre es über Nacht nicht aushaltbar gewesen. Für all die Mängel kam uns das Hotel gar nicht entgegen sind so oder so sehr langsam. Lage gut und schön.

Die Pool Villas sind außerhalb der Hotelanlage, wodurch man sich nicht ganz sicher fühlt. Zudem war die telefonanlage defekt, so dass man nur mit seinem Handy im Hotel anrufen konnt. Achtung: Sel-Catering, keine Minibar oder ähnliches in der Pool Villa. Ich hatte es mir alles in allem schöner vorgestellt.
