"Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. "Peacock Wing's was a great stay, the owner was very helpful and organised a breakfast for us early because we had booked a whale watching session the next day (at 6.30am). Its within walking distance to the main beach area, which took around 10 minutes but you can walk on the main road or also from the smaller beach which is across the road, but you'll have to go through some restaurants to get there. "This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit"
