"Somar is a beautiful property managed by the most amazing guy, Oscar. We booked Casa Sirena suite, it said it was a king bed but it was actually a queen (it didnt matter to us). The room was clean, had a comfy bed and very cold AC!
The pool and hot tub were so great, and being right on the beach allowed us to explore the beach for miles and swim in warm ocean waters with soft sand for 100+feet out.
Having a restaurant on site was so nice as its a remote location with only a basic market (water, snacks, fruit, beer) about 15min drive. The meals were delicious, the beers were cold and Oscars breakfast omelette was the best!
We would go back the next time were were in the area - 10/10 experience!"

"Beautiful hotel and room. The executive suite was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Shower, AC and ceiling fan all worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was perfect, made to order. Wish I could have stayed more than one night "

"Overall a pleasant stay. The property is beautiful and is well located for the side of town it is on, and is on a safe street with 24/7 security. AC is cold and shower gets hot. Bed was not the most comfortable and there is only breakfast and you get what you get, no options. They do allow day passes so if you want something more quiet and private, the weekends here are busy. However we probably won't stay here again because there are other options nearly half the price that have the same amenities plus food all day. "
