Marshside Villa by Sandpiper | Near Beach
8/10 Good
"Liked it alot will stay again. Just a rattling like marbles in the AC vent in bedroom everytime it turned on. Difficult to sleep but, think that can be fixed. Would definitely stay again if that 1 issue was resolved.thanks ."

"Overall it was a great experience. Everyone was nice and friendly. The Saturday morning jazz musicians at breakfast were awesome and the included breakfast was plentiful, quality and delicious food. I would definitely stay there again if visiting Kiawah."

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We celebrated our first anniversary at your property. I was in hotel management for 35 years and I've never encountered a more experienced, genuinely friendly staff. The resort itself is a sight to behold. Fresh, calming and restorative. Our king riverfront room was so lovely with the canopy bed and generous views. I do have to mention the quality of food. Presentations were lovely and nice portions, but everything we ordered was overpowering salty. We did mention this to the manager who accepted the critique graciously. Perhaps consider a complementary continental breakfast. Two coffees and one breakfast bread was $20.00. A little steep perhaps? There was no real gift shop. Just the spa which looked inviting. Maybe next time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return."
Breathtaking Salt Marsh Views & Sunsets & Kayaking with Dolphins
8/10 Good
"Our villa was very pretty, updated & had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. The king bed was very comfortable, bathroom very well set up with a nice shower, & the kitchen handy for making our own meals. The one thing we did suggest is due to the saltwater marsh & dry conditions, there was a good amount of pollen on the windows making it difficult to take pictures of the beautful birds & views of the marsh. The host said they'd put in a request from the HOA. This was a new type of rental for us as we usually choose waterfront or oceanfront properties, but we really enjoyed something different. The location was perfectly situated between a lot to do from shopping, hiking, biking & the beautful beaches. Renting bikes was easy as the island shop dropped off & delivered for us & reasonably priced. The many beach entrances, boardwalks, were long at first until we got used to that, & enjoyed watching for wildlife. Make sure you keep your parking passes you receive at villa check in at the guest house on your dash at all times. We got a ticket as one day it had fallen off the dash, but they quickly took care of at the admin office. It's a very safe gated community. The pool small but perfect for us. Wasn't crowded even on the hottest days. We didn't use the included kayaks as was quite a walk for us to take them off stand by the pool, take one at a time on the provided cart & walk behind another building, down a dock to launch. Overall we highly recommend. Great host!"
Gated Secluded Marsh View
10/10 Excellent
"The location can’t be beat. It’s very secluded and quiet, but also very close to Freshfields Village and the entry gate to Seabrook. The unit is well maintained and clean where it mattered most. Also, well placed dehumidifiers in the kitchen and bathroom kept potential beach mustiness at bay. Maybe best of all was the visitor pass to Seabrook Island that was included with the rental. Being able to access the beautiful, quiet beaches on Seabrook anytime we wanted using the pass was a great bonus!Only very minor gripes: the lamps needed a good dusting, and there was no dish soap or aluminum foil. But I wouldn’t hesitate to book this rental again."
