For our first visit to Paris, this apartment the perfect base. Easy to get to from CDG, centrally located in the heart of the city, with quick access to the Metro. The neighborhood is fun, with plenty of places to eat and shop. When travelling, we love to hit up the local food markets and do a little cooking and the kitchenette was exactly what we needed. The space was clean and warm, despite being quite chilly outside. We would absolutely stay here again when returning to Paris.

The location is fantastic with so many excellent restaurants & shops just a few minutes walk away, plus walkig distance to other great neighborhoods. It is a bright, clean, quiet, cozy place to lay your head after a long day of walking around Paris. The place is very small, so if you are 6ft or taller this might not be the right fit.

Cozy Pied à terre

Owner was very clear so there were no worries about check in or how to get to the apartment. Neighbourhood is lovely and apartment is well situated. Would recommend with one caveat -- apartment is indeed cozy and might not be well suited for very tall or large individuals, or those who are not ok with stairs!

Perfect place in the heart of Paris

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks and had an excellent experience. The host was very responsive and communicated very clearly before, during, and after our stay. The apartment is very centrally located, but not in a touristy part of town, so you can experience the city really well. We’d absolutely stay here again.

My sister and I absolutely loved staying in Arlette’s apartment in le Marais! Thé studio is the perfect size for 2 people and it could not be in a better location. Arlette was so accessible as a host and gave the best recommendations!

Great pied a terre in Paris

The apartment was perfect for my solo getaway in Paris. The location in the charming and hip Marais was perfect — many cafes, shops, restaurants and the like within a short walk, and not far from Ile de la Cite, St, Germain, and other sights. I also loved that the apartment had a radio — so nice to tune in to the music of Paris. I had a great stay.

Great stay

A nice studio in a great part of Paris. Arlette was very nice to give us detailed food recommendations and checkin instructions. So many fun things to do within walking distance, and the metro is very close as well. Some parts of the ceilings are a bit low, so if you’re tall you’ll just need to watch out, but not a detractor at all. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a chill time in Paris.

A small nest under the roof of PARIS ( guests need to be able to climb stairs ) Live la Boeme in the best location in Paris . Quint and charming in an amazing location

This apartment is in an exceptionally nice neighborhood. You enter through the most charming courtyard and up four flights of stairs to an attic unit that feels like it’s out of the movie Moulan Rouge. Beautiful views are worth the climb. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again.

Try Le Marais

Le Marais one of Paris loveliest districts. Challenging 82 steps to studio for some but cozy. Incredibly well placed for restaurants, cafés, groceries and bakeries. 15-20 minute walk to great sites such as Place des Vosges, Centre Pompidou. Picasso Museum etc. Seine 30 minute walk.

La Boheme

We very much enjoyed our stay in this attic apartment. Yes it is 5 flights up, but at 73, I had very little problem. It had a well done kitchen, the bath was fine, the view from the kitchen window really charming. The neighborhood- Le Marais was fab. We had trouble leaving it--so many wonderful museums, shops and restaurants. Our host's recommendations were always terrific. We would definitely recommend. Just try to anticipate your needs, and they will help. We wish we'd had a top sheet on the bed for example, and an additional blanket. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our week!

I agree with Craig C previous review in August 2025. Our information provided was misleading Eg: no hot tub, outdated restaurant information. Very squeezy for two people. Like living in a caravan. Toilet seat not properly attached. Shower ridiculously small. No hand basin so kitchen sink used. Had to take care not to bump head on beams in roof. Freezer door broken. Paintwork tired. Everything tired. Bed not comfortable. Wifi stopped working and could not get it fixed. You could not take a large suitcase up the stairs. Good instructions for entry and exit. Great location for eating. In a boutique clothing and gallery district. Better value for money in other accommodation.

The dreamiest séjour in Paris

I recently stayed here during my first ever trip to Paris. The location was incredible, with excellent restaurants and shopping just steps away in the best quartier of Paris - Le Marais. It was very easy to walk to all the museums and landmarks I desired to visit. The apartment was clean, cute, and comfortable. Communication with Arlette was excellent, she provided straightforward instructions for getting into the apartment as well as recommendations for things to do during my trip. Cannot recommend enough staying here during your trip to Paris!

A very nice stay in Le Marais!

A charming, cozy apartment in Le Marais. It is an excellent location with many shops and restaurants close by! Arlette was very kind and responsive. One thing to note is that it is hard work to bring a large suitcase up the stairs to the top floor! Even as relatively fit people in their 20s. Luckily, you only have to do that twice (when you arrive and leave)!

Perfect Little Parisian Apartment

Me and my best friend had a wonderful time staying in Artlette's beautiful little apartment. It is a very small space up a number of stairs, the last set of which being a bit steep. But hey, it's Europe! And once your luggage is up there, it's great. Also, it was SO quiet up there, even while being so centrally located. It was the perfect place to come home and rest after a long day of exploring. If you are looking for a place to rest your head that is simple, cozy, cute, AND in a great location - this is it.

Perfect location

The address is incredible and amid tons of fantastic shops, cafes, transit, and more. Unfortunately, we found the cleanliness of the bathroom a little lacking due to very little ventilation. We had a mold issue that was mostly rectified during our stay but we wish it hadn’t happened at all. The bed is comfortable enough, but the couch was quite sunken. If you only need a place to rest your head, this works quite well especially for the price.

Super cute studio, perfect location!

Stayed with a friend for 5 nights. Arlette’s clear communication and instructions made the process of accessing the studio super easy. The location of the studio was even better than I had expected! Lovely shops and small cafes nearby - also feels very safe as two female travellers. Although small, big enough for two people and the pictures accurately reflect the size of the studio. It was clean and having a small working kitchen was great as well! One thing worth noting are the many stairs you must climb to reach the studio (there are a lot). This wasn’t an issue for us, but something worth keeping in mind for travellers with lots of luggage/accessibility issues. Overall, was a lovely stay, would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the heart of one of the coolest areas in Paris!
