Quiet well located apartment

We enjoyed the location near shops and cafes. The apartment is quiet and has good light. The lift works well. Communication with the host and check in was easy.As other reviewers have noted this is an occupied apartment with lots of art objects throughout. For some this is a positive. We found it a bit difficult to find spots for all our belongings.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet location, central Paris

The two of us stayed chez Constance in April 2025. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. There is a generous bedroom, a very comfortable lounge, and a kitchen area with additional seating space. It is located in a very pleasant and quiet area with the additional benefit of being close to the centre of Paris and a short walk to the nearest Metro station. Constance was very helpful and our arrival and departure were seamless. I have only one, and minor, criticism. The apartment is a little too crowded with furniture and personal belongings. Although this certainly adds to the charm it also inhibits moving about freely and also makes it easy to misplace your own belongings. However, the location, the tranquility and the general comfort easily offset this minor gripe. And the alternative of furnishing the place with minimalist Ikea stuff would bring about even greater horrors !

Outstanding location

When visiting Paris as a tourist, what matters most regarding lodging are location and safety. Both are excellent for this flat. Multiple bistros, metro stations and grocery/pastry/gelato establishments. We’ve visited Paris numerous times and were here for 10 nights most recently, and this location was excellent for us.

More privacy?

Lovely space a fair remove from the Seine. Window coverings were absent or needed to be kept open for heating. So either warmth or quite limited privacy. Lovely belongings often prevent use of vintage and rather unstable side tables. Rugs could be secured to prevent tripping.

Well equipped home in great location

We stayed here for a week during the Olympics. It was so convenient to have a metro station located feet from the house, but also walking distance to many nice bars, restaurants, and shopping. Very safe and quiet area in the evenings. House was perfect for two people; plenty of space and good lighting. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated all the nice details throughout the house. Definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Everything as promised

I enjoyed my stay. The apt was exactly as described. The location was close to the metro and it was easy to get around. Mgt was easy to talk to and quick to respond to questions. For two people, this was a perfect stay.

Incredible!!!

This was the most perfect location, apartment, and experience. Anita was absolutely fabulous and incredibly helpful even outside of our stay. Right next to train station. Awesome restaurants just downstairs. Will ABSOLUTELY stay again.

Paris apartment

Our overall impression of the property was mixed. Many places in the apartment were not very clean, especially in the kitchen. There was an odor of spoiled food in the oven. The countertops were not very well wiped down. There were stains on every decorative pillow. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable, though we would have liked a couple of other pillows. The location was excellent, right by the metro stop and a bakery, grocer, and pharmacy right across the street. There were at least 10 restaurants within a couple of blocks. Be aware: no air conditioning, just one fan. Luckily it was cool every night except one. The host stayed in touch with us, she is an artist so there were many interesting things to look at in the apt.

Bohemian apartment in Paris

We had so much fun staying at Constance's cute apartment. You can tell she is an artist as the décor shows off her style. The neighborhood was great with easy walking distance to good restaurants, bakeries, shops, and the Metro, which we used a lot. The kitchen had lots of dishes, cooking ware, and so many spices and herbs! We went to the bakeries and ate in every morning so it was nice to make coffee and relax before we headed out. So close to Luxembourg Gardens--lovely. We also appreciated the elevator! The building manager, Anita, was fabulous! We arrived early but she let us put our luggage in the apartment while she finished cleaning and we went out sightseeing. We would recommend this apartment and neighborhood.

Great location

Constance provided good communication throughout. And Anita arranged our smooth check in and helpful information. The apartment was filled art work and furniture accumulated over decades. Plus the small but adequate kitchen with every drawer and spaces filled. Beautiful rugs and small divans with pillows everywhere. A deep cleaning will make the furniture and rooms even more enjoyable. Merci Constance for allowing us to stay for 4 nights. Aloha Felice

Great apartment and location

The apartment is just as shown in the photos. Lots of artwork everywhere. Comfortable bed, lots of windows and ventilation. Elevator up to 5th floor. The location was fantastic. Very close to Metro St-Placide (line 4) and Metro Rennes (line 12) so very easy to get anywhere in Paris. Boulangerie bakery across the streets and lots of restaurants within a block. Easy communication with owner and manager - they responded quickly to messages. Highly recommend and we hope to stay there again someday!

A lovely spot in Paris

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Constance was an extremely responsive host who always promptly replied to our questions before our arrival. The woman who greeted us and showed us around was also lovely to work with and made sure our needs were met. The apartment is in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bakeries and within easy walking distance of all the major sites of Paris. Constance has a flair for art, color and unique furnishings which gave the apartment a unique and interesting vibe! Thank you for making our stay in Paris so enjoyable!!!

What a gem!

This property was a find! Cozy, homey, well-appointed and perfectly situated close to great bakeries, restaurants, the metro and some great attractions. Constance was great at communication and very flexible when we arrived earlier than expected. I hope to stay here again!

Cozy in the 6th

We stayed at Constance’s apartment for a week. The apartment is cozy and well appointed. Constance is quick to communicate and very helpful. The area is wonderful. Two convenient metro stops close by and an easy walk to cafes, shopping and the lovely Luxembourg Garden. Would definitely stay again, if available, the next time we come to Paris.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely building and area

The apartment is well equipped, beautifully furnished and adorned with Constance’s wonderful art work. Easy walking to several subway lines although you hardly need subways as it’s a short walk to Luxembourg gardens , art galleries, markets and shops. The elevator was much appreciated by both myself and my 81 year old husband.

Great location and comfortable apartment

The apartment is very nice and comfortable, very spacious for us (a couple). We had everything we needed including cutlery, hand soap etc. There is a also a lift in the building which we really appreciated, given we had big bags. The location is perfect, it is next to the Metro, a bakery, restaurants and even a bubble tea shop. It is also walking distance to iconic landmarks so we got a lot of steps in. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful oasis in Paris

I appreciated this quiet space as a base for my son and me to enjoy Paris. Everything we could have asked for was provided. Staying in the apartment was (in and of itself) a feast for the eyes. Thank you Constance for your willingness to share your home with us.

Lovely apartment in a convenient spot

Constance has a lovely apartment with everything you need. It’s located in a pleasant neighborhood that has lots of cafes and shops. The metro is right on the corner making it easy to get everywhere. The bakery across the street was a perfect place to get coffee and a croissant in the morning. Constance was quick to respond - the only poor communication was on my part because I had trouble getting service on my phone. Her place is definitely recommended!
