The overall experience was great. It is a nice Hostel with Friendly Staff and good Installations. It was a bit noisy at night, but bearable (Inside at the lobby... and outside) I could recommend it no problem.

I fully recommend The People Paris, from the very friendly check in girl, the barmen etc all couldn’t be more helpful and do enough for me! The hotel is located next to two Metro stations (2 or 5 minutes walk) so perfect for discovering the capital French city easily, which I did!

OK - If you are looking for a hostel

Good accommodation. Good location. Bed (top bunk) difficult to reach via the ladder if you are not very mobile. Had a good nights sleep.

Excellent - highly recommend!

Really amazing stay, I was very impressed with the quality of the accommodation for the price. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bar/restaurant on-site is great. I really appreciated that there were curtains in the bed to make for more privacy when sleeping. Comfy bedding! The view from the rooftop is amazing! I've found my new go-to spot when in Paris.

My third or fourth time staying at this place. Still fully enjoying it :) Confortable beds, clean showers and decent facilities. Nice and cosy bar downstairs, where you can also enjoy a nice and affordable breakfast in the morning. The location is probably not the best, but there's a subway station not far from the hostel, so it makes it easy to access the city center. Go for it !

We did not stay here even though we paid for 3 nights. We have never been to Paris and based on previous reviews we booked this place. Our taxi cab driver on the way to this place, told us this is not a safe area. None of the pictures that were shown shows the area around this place. No one with kids would ever pick this place and feel that it is safe area. This place is non refundable so buyer beware. We lost over $1,000 by not receiving a refund because it’s not a safe area. Our unbiassed taxi cab driver took us to another location and made sure that we were in another safe place and area, he even reached out to us after a couple of days to make sure we were safe….

The bed is comfortable with a curtain. Checkin staff is friendly. However , the curtain has some marks on it. And the room door requires extra attention to ensure the door is knocked. I guess there is someone forgot to knock it on one day. And at that time , the room only has me. I just woke and I see someone open the door and close Immediately when I try to look at who wanted to enter the room!!

Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone looking to stay near the Canal during their visit. The four-person rooms on the rooftop were some of the best hostel accommodation I have had.

Booked this due to its proximity to the Eurostar station. Didn’t realise it was more of a party hostel. Music downstairs/surrounding area was a bit noisy when trying to sleep. Also booked a room for six but the room was really tiny with not much space to even move around. Expected a bit more considering it has a good rating.
