Upon arrival I was charged for the room even though I had paid Expedia 2 months prior. I paid the city tax but didn’t realize till after that I was charged also for 5 nights stay. The following day I told them the error and was told the person at reception had made a mistake. When refunded it was at a lower exchange rate so I still had overpaid. I am waiting for the difference but had to give bank details so they can deposit the difference which I am uncomfortable with.
Also there were numerous tiny black spiders on the tiles under sink and I found a few in my bed. I told reception and they cleaned it and put some product. I didn’t do their breakfast. I would have liked to know that I could still partake of free coffee and tea in the lobby breakfast area 24 hours a day. Communication extremely poor. Location excellent and many good restaurants within easy short walking distance.
