We had a lovely stay here and already planning a trip back! We’ve always stayed in Monmarte but never at a VRBO due to noise concerns but the description is accurate- this place is peaceful. Bathroom was good size, with two sinks with the toilet in a separate area.. it was small but we had no issue with it. Both beds were super comfortable and the unit was well maintained. We used the washer a few times and air dried our clothes, which was faster than a dryer. Since we were there during the high temperatures, we appreciated the air conditioning in the living room. As a previous commenter mentioned, there is a camera inside the doorway but it’s pointed directly at the door and not elsewhere. Karine confirmed that this was for security reasons only, which I appreciated.The lock was a bit tricky (could be that we didn’t figure it out or bothered to ask since it was our last day) but if the door is locked from the outside, I think you need to unlock the door from the inside (my husband Iocked the door when he went out and I couldn’t leave until he got back since we only had one key). My advice would be to not lock the door if someone is inside.Karine was extremely responsive and excellent host. If you love Monmarte, this place is the perfect location.Can’t wait to be back.
