Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!

We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. Very beautiful area!

This place is a good B&B solution if you need to stay around that place (which is a small village, but a little bit far from Varese or other bigger city). It was vey spacious and great detail in rustic Swiss chalet, Also very quiet and nearby many good trails.

Exceptionally friendly and personable proprietors. Funny abd charming. Comfortable and casual atmosphere. All guests and staff friendly. Very comfortable beds and lovely sheets. Charming village. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a classic Italian countryside villa located in a wooded area by a lake. It is just 40 minutes from the Milan Airport on the way to Lake Lugano and Switzerland. Tall ceilings, clean room with a view of the forest. There is a road in front of the property, but we could hardly hear it even during the day. They accommodated a late check in (9:30PM).

This is a lovely, very clean and convenient hotel in Ascona, a charming little town. We stayed for just one night on our way to Italy, but we left with such fond memories of our stay. The hotel is family run, and the wonderful couple who run it make you feel genuinely welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. Their kindness and personal touch made the experience feel special. There are plenty of nice, clean hotels, but it’s the heartfelt hospitality here that makes this one truly...
