「We stayed at Iberostar Lagos in late July with our extended family — 8 of us, including grandparents, kids (ages 7 and 9), and adults with different dietary needs — and it exceeded expectations.
The location is unbeatable: right above Meia Praia, with stunning ocean views and easy beach access. You’re close enough to enjoy the energy of Lagos town (just a 5–10 minute drive) but far enough to feel relaxed and quiet.

「It was suppoused that the use of the spa for children under 12 were 10:30 to 17:30.
However, a português familiy with two kids around 5 years entered the spa at 10:00 and started screaming and diving. So I could not relax and I left there quickly.
I wonder why the receptionist allow them to enter.
I cannot recommend this hotel.

「This is a very small boutique hotel that has been recently updated. It only has 4 rooms and just stairs /no elevator FYI.
The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One thing to note is anywhere in the tourist district is quite noisy at night. This is no fault of the hotel, just a heads up to others that the streets are all very narrow and clay tile so sounds carries very easily.

「We absolutely loved Dom Manuel. We were in a guest suite just 2 minutes from the main hotel and it was wonderful. Terrific space, great amenities and super shower. The pool was cool and refreshing, although we only used the one at our building. The main one was gorgeous, too. And the buffet breakfast was sensational and plentiful with so many fresh choices, hot and cold. Dom Manuel was the best place we stayed in, in our 5 week Spain and Portugal trip. Dom was damn fantastic. Obrigato. 」
「Very gorgeous hotel with incredible breakfast spread. I understand that this is set up like a village of hotels but we were in the main building so can’t comment much on any of those. Very close to beaches. Spacious parking lot which gave a lot of peace of mind. The restaurant was very good and accommodating. One day I had a stomach bug (unrelated) and the restaurant was nice to make me a special dish of plain pasta to take back to the room. Overall amazing stay!」
「今回ホテル内で過ごす時間が長かったですが、プールサイドやリビングなどでゆったりできたので快適でした。バスタブがなかったのと、ベッドが多分コイルマットで個人的にコイルはあまり好きでないので残念でしたが、部屋は清潔で窓もあり快適でした。朝食はポルトガルの定番でしょうか、パン類、チーズ類、ハム類、スクランブルエッグとベーコン、そしてフルーツなど。変換アダプターを外出先におき忘れたためどうしようかと思いましたがフロントで貸してもらえ助かりました。
My room doesn't come with a bath tub and I didn't like the mat of the bed, but the room itself was very clean and comfy. Breakfast was probably the typical Portuguese. 」
