"This is a rare find; a 13th century castello, lovingly restored and converted into comfortable and atmospheric apartments. There are magnificent views across Umbria. You are within reach of Spoleto and Foligno. Only problem; finding it. I strongly suggest that anyone booking it should make sure they get a precise map, because it is in the middle of nowhere. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."
