We were very pleased with our stay. Kids loved the pool and our room offered all the comforts of home. Staff was very friendly and if we had questions the text messaging feature helped us get quick answers. We were also notified of special events and check out procedures via text to keep us informed at all times.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Close to everything in walking distance

I specifically chose this hotel for the heated pool as my daughter was excited to swim the pool was super cold. I got different answers from the staff some said oh they never heat it another stated it’s been hot so we don’t heat it super disappointing.

Nice lobby but the rooms need updating, I was a little sad they didn’t offer early check in, We had to wait a little after 4pm to get our room, but one lady at the front desk was really nice and polite aware of the situation, at the end it was worth it to enjoy the ocean view.

The beach view is good but everything else is kind of meh. Overall I thought the resort was very overrated for what it is. There are many other better resorts in SD. That being said shelter island is awesome
