3/5 - Okay
Not good dining choices. Blue Spruce Saloon was "quaint" and interesting but we didn't like the food. My daughter and family ate at the pizza place but don't know what they thought of the food.

It was a perfect get away and the dogs enjoyed being with us. Such a cute little cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I.

Small town but great for staying a few nights to go skiing.
Lots of new businesses since our last visit.
Was a nice place. Lack of places to eat would be my biggest concerns. And there really isn't any place within easy driving distance.
Sleepy hiker town with some charm. Dinner at Blue Spruce Tavern (average) and Packwood Brewing (excellent).
Good brewery. Convenient grocery. Good distance to Mt Rainier N P
