"Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Had lovely view from our Balcony and close walk to the beach. Nice and close to Tairua main road and amenities. Would recommend good value for money."

"Very peaceful stay. Amazing views of the beach and perfect to be able to enjoy the hot springs at beach as many times as you like.House has all the essentials for a stay away from the city.Communication with the host was flawless. Carol is an amazing person very caring and thoughtful.We will definitely return next time we visit Coromandel ."

"Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. The dinners were also fantastic and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Difficult if you have any sort of knee or ankle issue - lots of very steep uphill, lots of stairs. Resort is at the edge of a cute suburb, rather than totally isolated as the pictures imply. Some of the most friendly staff I have ever experienced. Awful road through the mountains to get to it though. Some of the most winding and tiny roads with rude fellow drivers I have seen."

"The view from Apartment #8 was amazing! The location was great as well, being directly across from the beach and walkway, and a short stroll into the center of town. Even being so close to the street, the living area remained quiet due to the enclosed balcony. Chris and Gina are fantastic hosts, and are improving/maintaining this property to a high standard. Highly recommended!"

"Car park was a struggle to get in and out of with not much backing room and turn space. Friendly staff just wished I hadn’t had to wait a while to get a fresh set of towels, seen a family waiting for a staff member was there for a long period of time. When arriving not properly greeted or instructed on how cleaning and everything works (or even telling us tourist about what’s around here and what activities are on etc)"

"The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The toilet was mounted on a piece of laminated wood, which did not look hygienic. The toilet seat was very loose. The whole studio looked like it could have had a deep clean around the edges. The bedding was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Location to restaurants was very good."
