The Old Town of Oviedo comprises an array of stunning and intriguing churches, historic plazas and museums. A large rhombus-shaped park marks this fascinating district, which is mostly pedestrianized. Walk through the narrow alleys of this old quarter for a sense of the local traditions and customs.

It overlooks the large and spacious Constitution Plaza that marks the city center. Relax in the verdant fields of the Campo de San Francisco park and walk along the commercial avenue of Calle Uria that flanks it.
The historic center is in central Oviedo, a short walk south from the Oviedo railway station. Get around the old quarter’s periphery by bus and explore pedestrianized parts on foot.
