Adrian the owner was very nice with plenty of local tips to enhance our stayv and happy to tell you all about the rare breads on his farm. "Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "

"I had not realised in advance that it was a net carbon neutral hotel. I was absolutely amazed by all the design and actions that were at work to make this hotel eco-friendly. Brilliant - if this hotel can do it, so can most others! Elegant Skandi look to all the architecture, inside and out, all practical and with a purpose, but attractive also. Bed comfortable, bathroom great (shower excellent) and I was able to have fresh air through a filter panel in the window also. Room was reasonably priced. Dinner was good and priced OK. Continental breakfast was very nice; the cooked breakfast not so successful, and I think at £20 was overpriced. Otherwise all wonderful and a lovely surprise!"
