"Stayed at the Compass hotel from Tuesday May 12th and checked out Friday 15th. The reception staff were every friendly, helpful and professional. Our room x 2 booked were immaculate,clean bed linin, well stocked with beautiful soft towels and nice toiletries in shower. Unfortunately I did notice a bit off mould in the corner of shower in one room , could of been cleaned better! Pool is very small but lovely to sit by with comfy chairs. The pool men's bathroom was absolutely disgusting for 2 days and noticed others were complaining too, not good !!!! We had Taco Tuesday by the pool , it was ok for $5 each. Visited the Rooftop bar on Thursday May 14th, it looked quite busy, we have visited before but this time wasnt the best, unfortunately had to find a server to have drinks, then had to find her again I belive her name was Cassidy, to order food this took over 40 mins to arrive and my order was wrong but had to take it because the first order took too long, the server never came back to ask if everything was ok or order drinks ! We will definitely be back with family again to Compass , nice and handy to walk to restaurants nearby and beach!"

"Incredibly awesome beach views. Hot tub warm & available & roomy. Plenty of jets for an old gal! Very full hotel, plenty of parking & super quiet in the hallways & rooms. Very early morning piping hot coffee in the lobby was a treat. Staff attentive & friendly."

"Everything and everyone was very nice. Michelle at the front hostess area Clinton at the indoor bar and I’m sorry I forgot her name but the young lady as the hostess at the restaurant, maybe her name was Haylee but spelled differently. All were very warm and friendly and knowledgeable."

"The hotel room was lovely, comfortable beds. Shower did not have a door and the bathroom door didn't stay closed unless you locked it, awkward for our 8 year old diabetic since we don't allow him to lock the door for safety reasons. The restaurant in the hotel served our son regular pop after specifying twice, not the servers fault but it was a big problem for us that the machine lines were crossed. I'm also not quite sure what the "exclusive VIP" part of getting a room there is because we had to pay parking, no breakfast included, qns there was a private pool but all decent hotels on Daytona beach have that.. no private setup on the beach or anything. For the price, it's middling in my opinion. Nothing special, but the room was clean, beds comfortable and the ocean view was obviously good as it's on the beach."
