"The staff is awesome! Before I checked in, they let me know that they had fulfilled my special request almost as soon as I had submitted it.. I had the ocean on one side & the sunset on the other. The pool was heated and very clean, saltwater, not chlorine. The ocean of course is just gorgeous and the view from all the rooms is very nice. My room was very clean, a little old and kind of a hoot, but I felt very safe on this property, as a traveler alone. It wasn’t a problem for me, but just be aware that the outside space for your room is on a common walkway, it’s your own space but not a private terrace. Coral sands is on located on the “no cars allowed” part of the beach, which is so much better than Ormond farther south, and Daytona. I’m looking forward to going back and staying in one of the cottages, they are just so cute. They have some freestanding ones on the south side and some adjoined ones to the north. Lots of outdoor seating and two gazebos looking out over the ocean. There is also a campground. It just reminds me of the good old days of old Florida. Loved it!"
