"Ok so the pros of the hotel is the property is very spacious inside and outside with large parking spaces and with a nice view of the mountain, ski and trail areas, basketball and tennis courts. However, the problem we had was with the level of service and cleanliness of the rooms. First, when we entered our room and went to the bathroom, we found the rim of the toilet bowl a bit dirty smeared with excitement looking disgusting. We asked to have it cleaned and the front desk lady kept saying they will send someone to our room but no one came. We asked again twice (In one day) and still no one ever came even though the personnel at the front desk kept saying they will send someone out to service our room. We also noticed that our comforter had dried up blood in places all over and asked to have it changed and also have our sheets changed. We kept getting “ok we’ll send someone over” responses but nothing was done. We stayed there for 3 days and eventually needed some more towels and had to ask the front desk multiple times throughout the day again for someone to bring us the towels. Eventually someone did bring us the towels at around 11:30Pm but we felt pretty frustrated at that point with the level of service and having to ask so many times for these basic items and room maintenance. I’ve been in many hotels and motels in my life here and overseas but have never been as frustrated with the service I received in this hotel in the short amount of time I’ve spent there."

"The welcome was friendly and the front desk staff, mostly Nicole, were helpful. The free drink when you arrive is a nice touch! The rooms are whimsical, and if you don't like clowns (trigger warning!), the Moxy is based on the theme of the local Allentown Fairgrounds. It is stylish and fun to be there. There are comfortable gathering spaces for large groups and smaller spaces to curl up by the fire alone or for a couple. Moxy uses third parties for valet, and $22 plus tip daily can be expensive, but on-street parking is available if you are willing to walk a bit. They also use a third party for housekeeping, and the cleanliness of the rooms is not good; the linens (pillowcases) smelled stale. The tile in the bathroom had indiscernible marks on it, and the floor by my bed was sticky. I did ask them to refresh my bedding but the pillow cases still smelled stale and unclean. I used a sweatshirt over my pillow to sleep on. I am not a germaphobe, but I was a little uncomfortable in this room. One of the elevators had a wall-to-wall floor of beer - wet beer - everywhere, and I told the front desk manager, and he mopped it up. I think if someone was able to walk the property (having more than one clerk/manager on would help) then they could see this kind of thing. It is a social spot, so there is a lot of partying - HOWEVER, the noise in the room was minimal. I would say that if you come to the Moxy, enjoy the bar, the atmosphere, and the service at the front desk."
