When we arrived at the unit, it was so disturbingly dirty that we had to call to try to get it cleaned again. Vacasa is the property manager, so we waited on hold for over an hour with no response. My husband finally decided to email someone at Vacasa and we got a fairly quick response. There were hair beads on the floor, crushed chips in the food cabinet, some mysterious food sauce on the kitchen counter, peanut butter (my best guess) on the door frame of the master bedroom, hair everywhere..everywhere, dead flies on the floor, dust so thick i could write my name in it on some of the furniture, and the worst part was that the sheets in two of the bedrooms were not changed from the guests before us. The beds were intentionally made up and sheets not changed. There was body hair and sand BETWEEN the sheets. Not just a little bit of body hair, a lot! The unit was cleaned again once we were able to get in touch with someone with Vacasa, but we asked for sheets to be redone and they were not, so we had to deal with that at 1am on our first night of vacation. They did send a very nice lady out the next day and she changed every linen and removed all comforters and sent them to the cleaners. We just had blankets, which, at this point was fine. They sent someone in to service the hot tub while we were there but did not notify us that anyone was coming. My son happened to be there. Did not like that at all. I should have been notified someone was coming in, or they should come in on saturday when the unit is open for cleaning. The Turquoise is a very expensive place to stay, so i definitely did not expect problems like this from a unit there.
