The history of the property is very interesting. I wish we had more time to explore and to take the tour. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Our bathroom was very clean. The shower was a bit too small, but new and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Convenient to where we were going (Turning Stone). Beautiful gardens, historical building. Needs new beds!!!! Could not close blinds in bathroom due to being short. Need to lower. Did have coffee and mini fridge in room which was nice.

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights and we loved the historical features of the mansion. Our room and the other guest rooms are beautiful and have a nice view of the property. The library was one of our favorite parts. Late check in was a bit complicated but I’m happy they were able to accommodate us. I would love to stay here again!

Great stay at the Mansion House. Our room was absolutely beautiful and so clean and spacious. The mattress was a little too soft for my personal taste but my husband loved it. The continental breakfast the next morning was tasty, with nice breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, greek yogurt, coffee and juice.

Night in the museum
Ever want to spend the night in a museum, with a library, where you can wander the rooms and look at the exhibits? Well, you can, and I recommend this place. I love wandering through museums and thinking about the past, being able to after hours is really nice too. Most of the exhibits were still accessible after the place officially closed for the evening. Just check with the front desk, the staff is very welcoming and will let you know all about your surroundings. I was only here one night, and it was rainy, and there was one light on in the library, and the rain was pattering on the skylights, and take your pick, Poe, Dickens, pretty much all the volume sets for the big names. I got into a 1912 volume about insects - to me this is way more enjoyable than HGTV, oh, but you can do that if you want!

I’ve stayed here before with my wife on a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the history of the house and area. I stayed here this trip on my way to a meeting in Syracuse. The house and grounds are very peaceful.
