"This hostel felt like it was built in an old warehouse. The public space was tidy, and the servce was as good as you can expect in Japan. However, the photos don't show it all. Even though the walls seem tidy in their white colour, the ceiling has been left as it is — plain concrete with some pipe ends here and there. On top of all this, there is no proper sound insulation. "Don't expect much. The common area looks like a storage shelter. No front desk and no host. The front gate locks by latch so you can easily get locked inside. If that happens, climb out the window via room B, I think. Got locked in twice. If there is nobody outside to open it for you, no option but the window. Can't leave your luggage if you check out but need to leave it somewhere. They won't let you, which is inconvenient. When you check in too early and need to leave your luggage somewhere,...

"It’s close to Higashi-hie station, suitable for those who need to get to the airport in the early morning. The facilities is ok. The staff I met is great. The only problem is I was not able to get any sleep there since everything was too loud: the beeping sound when opening the door, the room was too close to the shower room, toilet and the entrance so I heard every footsteps. But it’s cheap. So this is not the complaint, I just share what I’ve experienced."

"It is not a hotel. It is more like an ordinary western style apartment which is quite spacious and have a washing machine and kitchen. Only around 8-10 min walk to Bataks station. And 3-4 min walk to a convenience store. Highly recommended "
