Loved the easy walk to the beach. Sand was left on the floor when we first got there and shower drain wouldn’t stay open but it was a place to sleep at.

It doesn't have a gym, it doesn't have free breakfast, it doesn't have bike rentals, or free water bottles or a cookies when you check in. But it's a clean, well-run establishment in a perfect location. I would highly recommend if you're visiting Ocean City.

Definitely one of the boardwalk hotels of all time

Booked two rooms and it was great for a boardwalk hotel! Super close to the beach. Clean rooms. Microwave and fridge. Economical. Now the minor quirks: the mattresses were old, the receptionist wasn't always there (we counted 3 different numbers to call/text to check-in and then had to wait awhile), loose doorknobs, you can hear folks walking up and down the stairs outside, and old window AC units.

Hotel was accommodating and super close to the beach. Staff is friendly. Bath mats would have been helpful, doors stuck to the primary bedroom door and the shower rods were rusted and took away from the potential of the ensuite. We were expecting bunk beds in one of the room but instead there were two full size beds, which we made work. Airbnb feel nonetheless. We’d stay here again.

We stayed one night at Beach Walk and it was a nice experience overall. It was great to be right by the OC boardwalk, where we could access dining, shopping, and the beach. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were lucky to get a parking spot in the small lot right next to the building. The only complaints I have- the blinds on the window by my bed were kind of messed up and the curtains were incredibly sheer. I could have used more darkness. Also, at the top of the stairs outside the floor where we stayed, the carpet was ripped. I tripped and skinned my knee. Hopefully that is fixed soon.

We had a nice stay at the Beachwalk. We loved the location and the girls working the front checkin were wonderful!! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night after our walk on the boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again. Next time we would like to check into staying in the building facing the boardwalk, that looked nice.

We were traveling through and stayed one night. It was a great stay. Rooms were decent size and very clean. Beds were ok. We were on the third floor and stairs were narrow and hard with luggage. Would recommend lower level. Only complaint is parking. It was packed and we had to park a block and a half away. It was not well signed to show where we should park in the lot. A woman stopped us and directed us however suggested we leave the spot by morning. Normal parking lot was full. Otherwise location is right on boardwalk and very nice!!

Location of the hotel was very convenient as it is a block from the boardwalk and beach. The staff during check in was super friendly, however the signs to find the lobby and parking are not clearly marked. We stayed on the top floor, where the room was smaller in size. It was clean, however the blinds were damaged which made it easy for people to see in both the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was pretty small, which was fine for me however my boyfriend is 6’4 and had trouble showering in the small shower. The noise from the boardwalk made it harder to sleep due to the poorly insulated walls, however the noise is to be expected when staying this close to the boardwalk. Check out was ok as there was not any staff present when we left. Overall it was an ok place for the price.

Just what we were looking for -- simple, clean, basic accommodation VERY close to the boardwalk and beach. Room was clean and everything worked fine. Staff was nice, although we didn't need to interact with them much. Definitely a great option for travelers like us who aren't looking for anything fancy (and don't want to pay for what we don't need!)

Ocean City Beach Getaway

The Beach Walk was a great spot for our short getaway in Ocean City. The rooms were very clean, renovated bathrooms, and a fridge with freezer section. It is just steps from the boardwalk and beach and in a great location for beach shops and several restaurants. My only issue was the bed was very uncomfortable but the staff was able to switch our room for the last couple of nights which made a world of difference. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back!

Everything was perfect. It was cozy, very clean, felt safe, right next to the beach (could watch the ocean at night from the porch). The only thing I wish was that the room photo was updated to reflect the actual fridge in the room. The photo showed a mini fridge with a separate freezer, so we bought tons of freezer food only to arrive and find a new fridge was there without a real freezer and all our food defrosted, plus we didn’t have enough room. So I just suggest updated photos when something changes because guests can really rely on them. Otherwise, everything was amazing and the staff was so so sweet. We will be returning yearly!

PROS: *The location is less than a minute walk to the boardwalk *The staff was helpful during hours; in the evening and night we had to wait till the next day for help *There is a working kitchen with a regular fridge, mini fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. Some dishes are provided. While there was soap supplied, no dish sponge or cloth was available *The table seats 8 and around the bar of the kitchen seats 6. CONS: *Even in the apartment that sleeps 14, you are only given 1 parking pass. *There was mold under one of the bathroom sinks. *The master bath's shower pressure was terrible. *Parts of the house are rough (a closet door was hanging off and just leaning against the frame) *They ask you not to hang things over the porch railings, but there isn't anywhere to dry wet clothes. *No washer/dryer *Lobby is upstairs; people walked in on us HOUSE LAYOUT: -Bedroom 1 is in the living room, as soon as you walk through the front door; 2-twin trindle beds and a television. -Bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin with a connected bathroom, shower, toilet, and sink. *Full bathroom in hallway -Bedroom 3 has 2 queens with a television -Bedroom 4 has a queen bed with an attached bathroom, toilet and sink only. -Bedroom 5 has a king size bed with an attached bathroom that has a toilet, sink and large shower stall with seat. PARKING: Parking is on a corner lot and there is an overflow lot, with directions on parking pass. Parking on 11th St and on is free

The property was in a good location. On day one of my stay, we found ants in the room and the bathroom, which got worse during our stay (we only had sealed packages of food in the room). There was a miscommunication with parking which lead to a frustrating experience with the district manager of the company, as well as some unappreciated attitude to us and other staff members. There was some mold in the bathroom and on the blinds in the bedroom. We requested housekeeping for a change in bathroom towels, which we never ended up receiving. The shower water was way too cold to be considered hot, and was not relaxing at all. Unfortunately, this property was not up to our standards for the price we paid. Disappointed in our experience, and probably would not stay at this hotel again.

Pros of this property: it was easily accessible by driving & walking to boardwalk/beach. We arrived later in afternoon, everything was in the room for us. It had been serviced & you could smell the cleanliness of the room. We were on the 3rd floor, and the view from the porch was great. There were 6 rockers out there to sit & enjoy the fresh air. Cons: this is not a hotel with daily services. We don’t mind the making of the beds every day, but do like to have fresh towels. We did miss the part about calling before 9 am to request servicing. When asking about it at the office, the response was, didn’t you read the book. Well there is a binder in the room that apparently needs to be read through. Ok, that’s no big deal. But the day before our checkout, we got fresh towels on our own before showering that morning. We had requested for new ones later in the afternoon (after leaving them all out in the hall). The young man said he would stick more in. When we returned later that night, no towels. There were none extra down in the closet either. We resorted to using our beach towels from the day prior. That was the biggest complaint. The shower in the bathroom is a walk in & extremely small. The location was great but I think we would try other places if we were to ever return to OC.
