Lovely hotel, eveything you might need tobfeel at home. Great staff who clearly want you to feel welcome and make the experience. Standard rooms are a little small to fot 2 suitcases and with not much natural light and beds are a little firm (would be perfect with a 3-5cm matress topper), but easily balanced out by the nice communal areas (roodtop + self service bar), good location and modern well appointed rooms.

The hotel is new, well situated, and has great amenities including a second story bar/patio area and a rooftop dipping pool with loungers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ivan and Antonio both made our stay particularly enjoyable; however, all of the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend Casa Zina to anyone looking for accommodations in El Centro.

No idea why this is rated 2 stars, should def be 3.5 or even 4 ⭐️ Such a cute little boutique hotel that’s only a few months old - steps from the markets and historic Centro. Very clean rooms with super comfy beds. We had a suite with a steam shower. The rooftop pool and sauna is a lovely touch, as is the open bar on the 2nd floot. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would 100% stay here again!

What I liked was the mini pool/jacuzzi and the room, everything is brand new. By the other hand, the staff doesn’t explain how to use the amenities, such as the TV at the terrace or the electronic devices. Lack of good vibes.

The Casa Ziña is a new built small hotel right next to the main square of Oaxaca city. The location is hard to beat. It is incredibly nice built with much style, bar, rooftop Pool and even a Sauna. The rooms are rather small and at least some of them don‘t have a window, but they are very good ventilated and the hotel invites you to spend your time on the plenty of open air spaces they offer for the guests. Like the hotel itself, also the rooms have a nice style of tradition and modern, well maintained and clean. They also have a cooperation with a car park right next door. But the real highlight for me was the staff! I can’t remember that I have ever got a nicer welcome than here.

Fantastic hotel! Staff were super helpful and attentive. Great central location very close to Mercado 20 de Noviembre. They also provide a 3 hour car service if you want for around $130 dollars which is super helpful for seeing sites such as Monte Albán. The room was small but cosy with lots of amenities provided (including a filter coffee machine which we greatly appreciated!). The rooftop had a stunning view with a small heated pool which was great to relax in after a day of walking around the city. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

The property is located in an ideal area. It is within walking distance of downtown and many attractions including the Mercado 20 de Noviembre. The hotel is new and everything is well kept. We felt like we had the place all to ourselves during our stay and we were there during the Guelaguetza(peak time). Above all, the staff is absolutely amazing and we felt like they were there to cater to us. They suggested great places to eat, held our bags until our room became available, and provided us with a grand finale tour that ended at the airport. The accommodations made for us were the highlight of our stay. Prices are very accessible for the luxury and location of this property. We will be excited to return to Casa Ziña on our next trip. I recommend this place to any and all explorers looking to visit Oaxaca.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Ziña in Oaxaca. It’s a beautiful property in a great location near the central square of town. Our room was located on the ground floor of the property which meant we could hear a lot of the comings and goings of other guests in the hotel, particularly late at night or early in the morning. The rooms must not be particularly sound proof as we could also hear toilets being flushed. The shower in our bathroom was quite temperamental, taking over 5 minutes to reach a hot temperature. While it had very strong water pressure, many of the holes of the shower head were blocked causing the water to spray out the sides all over the bathroom. Additionally, we arrived at the property in the afternoon but were not shown or reminded of the amenities of the hotel such as the bar, jacuzzi or sauna by the staff member who checked us in. However, the man working at the front desk of the hotel in the evenings was lovely, very helpful and showed us around on our last day. The coffee from the cafe next door supplied in the rooms is also delicious!

Everything was wonderful. Great location and facilities. Especially the self serve bar area and free filtered water, and the pool area with a beautiful view of the city.
