「町の中心から車で10分か15分位離れた場所にあります。小さなホテルで、まるで親しい人の家に泊まりに来たような気分になりました。部屋からは畑や学校も見えます。時々トゥクトゥクが通り過ぎ、のどかでした。一番印象に残ったのは、夕食と朝食を出してくれた若いスタッフです。私達が日本人だとわかると、日本語で声をかけてくれた上に、厨房へ戻りながら一生懸命覚えたての日本語を練習しているのに気づきました。他のスタッフからも暖かいもてなしを受けました。食事中シェフが挨拶に来た他、チェックアウトの際、シェフが念の為再度部屋の忘れ物チェックを一緒にしてくれました。時々スマホなどを忘れるお客さんがいるそうです。朝ホテルを出発する時、例の若いスタッフから「またいつか会いましょう。私達のことを忘れないで下さい」と声をかけられ、お互い握手しました。」

「Sanjaya went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. He provided a takeaway breakfast at 4.45am when we wanted to go to Horton Plains and always made sure we were okay. Lovely secluded stay!」

「We stayed at this delightful mountain cabin in Ella. It hangs off the mountain, faces directly west for the perfect sunset between two peaks. The view is breathtaking. The pictures do not do the tiniest bit of justice. It's a brand new cottage with 2 seperate units. One with a bedroom + loft sleeps 4 people. The other is a two bedroom. The only downside to this place is getting there.. some steel hills, big vehicles cannot go. Tuk Tuks... that struggle to get up the hill or walk. It's worth it...

「This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 「A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. 「This small and charming hotel sits high upon the hill, overlooking a nearby village and the Oliphant Tea Factory. It's a quiet location, with stunning rooms - which is a welcome change if you're staying mostly in guest houses or big resorts.
