"I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing trip turned into a very stressful situation due to the unsafe conditions in the pool area. The tile around the pool was unbelievably slick. It was extremely difficult to walk safely—honestly, it felt like walking on an ice-skating rink. Because of this, my son slipped, fell, and busted open his chin. We had to leave the hotel and take him to immediate care, where he required stitches. Having to deal with that while we were supposed to be enjoying our vacation was upsetting and completely unexpected. While the manager on duty was polite, we were disappointed with how the situation was handled. Our information was taken and we were told the insurance company would be contacting us, but we still have not heard from anyone. No compensation or meaningful concern for what happened was offered at the time. Given the seriousness of the situation and the unsafe condition of the pool area, we feel this matter deserves follow-up and attention. We would appreciate hearing back regarding what steps are being taken to address this issue and how Fairfield plans to handle situations like this for guests in the future."

"There are better hotels in the area for about the same price. Parking was $30 a night and that was unexpected. The hotel has a smokey scent, which i think is intended but it was very unpleasant and just smelled like campfire to me. The room is cramped when you try to use the luggage carrier in and out. And, since we stayed for 5 nights, the rooms didn't have enough drawers for us both to unpack. They were the most shallow drawers ever, wouldn't close with a sweater in them!"
