「The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. The location is away from the main homestay areas (although very close to Hoa Lu and the Trang An Boat Ride entrance) as well as any shops. They have a decent food offering, we found it useful to supplement with eating in town and bringing...

「Going by motorcycle from Ninh Binh to Phong Nha, one can make a stop halway and use this hotel as your stop. The owner is extremely friendly, inviting me for both dinner and breakfast, and driving me around. A real personal touch. The place itself is functional, let's say, worth the price Vietnam style. Nevertheless, I had a cultural stayover! 」

「The place was ok, but details said breakfast was included which it wasn’t. When we asked the host he said the 2 dry packs of noodles was “breakfast”. No staff on site most of the day, no housekeeping or toilet paper refills. Room was clean at least and had free laundry machine upstairs, but took several cycles to get dry completely. Not very convenient area and difficult to walk around nearby. 」
