「The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. 」

My only negative comment is we would have liked an ice cube maker in the freezer and a cutting board in the kitchen. We loved having a drink and enjoying the view on the deck We would recommend this appt and would gladly stay again」

「The property was in a central location and walkable distance to supermarket and restaurant. Host will contact you on the day of check in for details. The place was clean and spacious, being quite comfortable to live in with a kitchen, however you would need to bring your own hair dryer. There is a washing machine but the clothes dryer was not working. There is also no elevator and you need to walk two flights of stairs to the place. Overall it is fine for its price, as the hotels nearby can get...

「Amazing location. It was tricky to find but the host instructions were pretty good. Clean and very comfortable. We had a great time. Really appreciated the little extras like sauce in the fridge and spice in the cupboard. Very responsive host」
